As a Quality- and EHS-Manager in customer projects within Siemens Energy Sustainable Energy Systems, you are the central point of contact for project managers, lead engineers, and customers on all Environment, Quality, Health & Safety (EQS) topics in hydrogen-electrolysis projects.
You start your day by aligning strategies to ensure conformity of a component with relevant standards together with the component owner and mechanical and process engineering experts, followed by reviewing the Inspection and Test Plan for a subsystem in one of your execution projects to align with the supplier. After lunch with colleagues, you plan a site visit to support the commissioning team in resolving a nonconformity identified during startup, combined with a safety walk-and-talk to confirm effective implementation of the EHS plan. You close the day by reviewing a customer contract in a bid project for specific EQS requirements and discussing approaches to deviations with the bid manager over a coffee from our cafeteria.
